Award-Winning Voyager Flight Software Now Available to WAI Members

We are excited to announce the newest benefit for Women in Aviation, International members...a flight planning system FREE from Seattle Avionics! FreeFlight was awarded 2010 best free flight planner by Aviation Consumer Magazine.

As a start, all WAI members can download the special version of Voyager FreeFlight, Seattle Avionics' easy-to-use basic flight planning system. FreeFlight is based on the full Voyager 4 Software System, which just won Product of the Year from Aviation Consumer, July 2010. The WAI Custom version of FreeFlight includes most of the features of the full system but leaves out some features such as on-screen fuel prices, export to GPS devices, high performance and high altitude planning and viewing or printing of paper charts and plates. A WAI custom logo is embedded in the special version of the FreeFlight Software.

WAI members are directed to a dedicated page at Seattle Avionics site to download their free version of Voyager FreeFllight. Simply visit www.seattleavionics.com/OEM/WAISpecial.aspx for the download.

If a WAI member wants the full Voyager Flight Software, it is available to WAI members at a very significant discount off the retail price. In fact, all the WAI member will do is activate any full Voyager module they would like to try from within the WAI customer version of Voyager FreeFlight they initially downloaded. If they purchase a module, they simply activate the full version already on their computer.

"We are delighted to partner with Seattle Avionics to provide this latest member benefit," said WAI President Dr. Peggy Chabrian. "Since 80 percent of our members are pilots, we know this benefit will be a welcome addition to the line up of benefits already provided to our members."
